About Lightvale Holdings
Founded by Heart. Driven by Results.
Our Story
Founded by Nigerian-Canadian entrepreneurs, Lightvale Holdings is a Black-owned short-term rental company built on a simple belief: spaces should feel like home.
It started on a phone call between two friends far from home. “Beulah, are you feeling homesick? I need somewhere to unwind,” Princess asked. As immigrants building lives in Canada, we both understood that ache—missing the comfort of familiar places, familiar people, and the warmth of belonging. But we realized something: homesickness isn’t just an immigrant experience.
It’s the consultant on a four-month project missing their family. It’s the young couple visiting from outside Canada trying to feel settled in yet another hotel room. It’s anyone who’s ever felt far from where they belong.
So we asked ourselves: what if we created spaces where everyone could feel genuinely at home? That question became Lightvale Holdings—a company dedicated to offering furnished monthly rentals, corporate housing, and extended-stay accommodations across Alberta.
We are building spaces designed with intention. Properties managed with care. Hospitality that makes you feel seen, not just accommodated.
